Preesman Naturals
Preesman Naturals is a company with a unique character. We breed new varieties of roses for extraction and we develop a variety of specific knowledge for their extraction with supercritical CO2. The intellectual properties of each newly developed variety are owned by the company. The varieties are selected for their production characteristics and the quality of their extracts.
The use of carbon dioxide as an extraction solvent gives us the possibility to create a pure extract with zero residues, as well as to recycle and reuse the solvent. Zero waste production is a big part of our philosophy.
Innovation
The project focuses on conducting a feasibility study for sustainable, supercritical CO2 extraction of essential oils from the flowers of the specially cultivated new rose variety PO1. In addition, it investigates the possibilities of using the by-products of this extraction for the development of high-quality anti-ageing cosmetics. By making effective use of residual flows, the project aims to create a circular process that is both ecologically responsible and economically viable. The ultimate goal is to create innovative, natural perfume oils and care products with active ingredients from rose flowers, while minimising waste and placing sustainability at the heart of all stages of production.
